Is it for you?

You enjoy long combos and mapping the whole line before you start.

You have boxes from the 2000s and no idea what is worth anything.

You play locals and need the Side Deck tuned for each meta.

Scan your Yu-Gi-Oh! cards

The same card exists across a dozen sets at different rarities, and the price changes completely between them. The scanner identifies set, code, and rarity from one photo and saves it to your collection. How to organize a Yu-Gi-Oh! collection.

Those early-2000s boxes are the ideal case: scan in batches and let the inventory tell you what deserves an appraisal and what’s bulk.

What your Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are worth

EUR references per printing and rarity: the reprinted common and the original Secret Rare don’t share a price. Your collection’s total, computed for you.

First printings and early-2000s Secret Rares have a serious market. Before selling, value against real sales, not listings.

Yu-Gi-Oh! in 5 concepts

Before your first duel. Without the rulebook.

Main Deck: 40 to 60 cards. Most players stay at 40 to draw what they actually want.

Extra Deck: 15 separate cards: Fusion, Synchro, XYZ, Pendulum and Link. They are summoned from there.

Side Deck: 15 cards you swap between duels to adapt to your opponent.

Chains: Effects resolve in reverse order of activation. Whoever responds last resolves first.

Forbidden & Limited: The list that says how many copies you may run: 0, 1, 2 or all 3.

Playable formats

TCGJoin validates your lists automatically.

Traditional (Casual): Forbidden cards become limited instead. Kitchen-table only.

Goat Format (Community): Frozen in 2005. Slow duels, no modern Extra Deck, and a scene of its own.

Frequently asked questions

How many copies of a card can I run?

Three at most across Main, Extra and Side. The banlist can lower that to 2, 1 or 0.

Does the Extra Deck count toward the 40 minimum?

No. The Main runs 40 to 60 and the Extra is 15 separate cards.

How often does the banlist change?

Konami revises it several times a year. TCGJoin flags your affected cards as soon as it drops.

Is my old collection worth anything?

It depends on the printing. First editions and 2000s Secret Rares have a real market — scan them and check.

How many cards are in the catalog?

More than 46,000 across 658 sets, with reprints and rarities kept separate.

Is TCGJoin free?

Yes: the free plan includes collection, scanner, set progress, and a daily AI quota — no expiry, no card required.

Does the scanner tell rarities apart?

Yes: it proposes the specific printing and rarity — common, super, ultra, secret — and you confirm before saving.
