Best AI deck builders for Pokémon, Magic, One Piece and Lorcana (2026)

Plenty of deck builders sound like AI and very few say so on their own site. We went through the official sites of nine: four will build a whole deck for you, and only two say they check every card against a real database.

One row per tool. “Not confirmed” means its official site does not say so, not that it can’t do it.

Price: the cheapest published paid plan. For Moxfield, Archidekt, EDHREC and Limitless it is their Patreon (the last three remove ads with it). ChatGPT at the price its site shows in Spain.

Which tool to pick for your game

Magic, Commander: Farseek if you want an AI that reads your deck and suggests changes; EDHREC if you would rather see what most people play with your commander.

Magic, any format, built by hand: Archidekt or Moxfield. Neither advertises AI on its site.

Pokémon TCG Pocket: 20cards builds the 20-card deck around the cards you pick.

Competitive Pokémon and One Piece: Limitless, to see which lists are winning tournaments.

Lorcana, built by hand: Dreamborn.ink, with a simulator and a registration sheet.

Several games, the whole deck built by AI, legal and with its cost: TCGJoin. It is the only tool in the table that builds Pokémon, Magic, One Piece and Lorcana decks.

What separates a useful AI from one that makes up cards

A language model without a card catalog writes card names that sound right. What matters is what the tool checks afterwards: does the card exist, is it legal in your format, and what does it cost. Farseek says every recommendation follows a live Scryfall search; TCGJoin’s Deck Coach checks every line against its catalog on the server before showing it. We explain it in detail in why ChatGPT makes up cards.

What TCGJoin’s Deck Coach does

Builds the whole deck for Pokémon, Magic (Standard, Commander, Modern, Pioneer, Legacy, Vintage, Pauper…), One Piece, Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragon Ball Fusion World, Digimon, Riftbound, Force of Will and Naruto.

Ask for an archetype and it starts from a list that topped a recent tournament, then fits it to your budget.

Every card is a real printing from the catalog. Legality comes from the official list (Scryfall, TCGdex, YGOPRODeck, Lorcast) and the deck gets a “Legal” or “Draft” stamp, with the reason.

The cost is the sum of the cards at Cardmarket prices in euros, and the deck exports to Pokémon TCG Live or MTG Arena.

What it doesn’t do: on iPhone it runs in the browser for now, and the free plan has 5 AI tries; Rare, from €3.99 a month, gives you 20 requests a day.

How we compared

TCGJoin is our tool, so we are not neutral. Every fact about the others comes from their official site, their Patreon or their App Store listing, checked on the date above, and we link them at the bottom. Moxfield’s site would not load when we checked, which is why most of its row says “not confirmed”. If something has changed, tell us and we will fix it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best AI deck builder?

It depends on the game. For Magic Commander, Farseek; for TCG Pocket, 20cards; to build a whole Pokémon, Magic, One Piece or Lorcana deck with its legality and cost checked, TCGJoin. Moxfield and Archidekt are widely used for Magic, but they do not advertise AI.

Do Moxfield or Archidekt have AI?

Their official sites do not advertise any AI feature as of the review date. Archidekt shows recommendations using its own data and EDHREC’s.

Is there an AI deck builder for One Piece or Lorcana?

Among the official sites we reviewed, only TCGJoin builds One Piece and Lorcana decks with AI. Limitless (One Piece) and Dreamborn.ink (Lorcana) are deck builders you fill in by hand.

Can I use ChatGPT to build a deck?

You can, but check every card: OpenAI warns that ChatGPT can give incorrect or made-up information. Ask for each card’s set code and number and look it up in the game’s official card database.

Are they free?

All of them can be used for free. Farseek has a weekly AI allowance and plans from $6.99 a month; TCGJoin has 5 free AI tries and the Rare plan from €3.99 a month. Moxfield, Archidekt, EDHREC and Limitless are supported through Patreon.
