TCGplayer alternatives: European prices, in your language

TCGplayer is the biggest card marketplace in the US, and its app is free and scans well. But every price is in US dollars, the app is in English, and what you see is what a card is worth there, not in Europe.

When to stay with TCGplayer

If you buy and sell in the US, TCGplayer is hard to beat: it is its own marketplace, shows market price, listed median and most recent sale, covers around 50 games and the app is free.

When to look elsewhere

You buy on Cardmarket and want that price in euros: TCGJoin, or Dragon Shield, which shows both.

You want a European marketplace inside the app: CardNexus, with several currencies.

You want a portfolio with sealed and graded: Collectr.

You want the app and the cards in your language: TCGJoin, in 10 languages, with each card’s name and artwork in yours.

How to move your TCGplayer list to TCGJoin

In the TCGplayer app open the list, tap ⋮ and “Send via Email”; in Settings pick CSV. Upload that file to TCGJoin: it matches every card by set and number, for free. Step by step in import your collection.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a TCGplayer for Europe?

Europe’s reference marketplace is Cardmarket. To see its prices on your phone, TCGJoin shows them in euros and Dragon Shield shows them next to TCGplayer’s; to buy inside an app, CardNexus.

Does TCGplayer show prices in euros?

No. Its help centre says all prices on TCGplayer are in US dollars, with no conversion.

Can I take my TCGplayer list with me?

Yes. The TCGplayer app exports lists as CSV by email, and TCGJoin imports that file for free.

Is TCGJoin free like TCGplayer?

The scanner and collection are, with no card needed. Paid plans, from €3.99 a month, add every game at once, the value chart and more AI.
